I dont use to make conceptual pictures, like this! But on the danish photoshop community "Comashop" there is a contest names POTM, the theme is earth/world, and then i thought it was a good idea to express this theme/concept!It a very sad concept, but the its even more sad that its a real concept/story!

Extremely well done , the speed lines don't bother me so much how ever I would have like to have seen on the 2nd portion with the african child the african continent under him rather then him still sitting on the same americas as the other child.

I have just returned from Tanzania (Africa) And have been there for 7 weeks - now this make even more sense, Its a sad theme, but I would make one more like this one - with own stock photos... Because, I just need to make it clear, that someone in this world really need my and others help.

I love the idea, but I don't think the 'dark' side is dark enough. Just putting an African child there doesn't make it grim and gruesome! And the soaring eagle makes me think of hope and aspiration rather than problems - try a vulture instead? 
Also, as with all photo manipulation, unless you took all these pictures yourself, it's good etiquette to at least quote your references...

Yea I have made the colours a bit more grunge on the african side - but maybe not enough?
The Eagle was the opposite of the toy-plane - but is it a symbol of hope? And if it are, i think its all right, because I think the child have lots of hope, maby more than the western child, with lots of material goods!

Well it certainly is a stunning image, although there should've been more to emphasize on both sides. Even still, a great piece of work for sure.

as usual, great work. i love the mirror reflection of the clouds between the two. kinda reinforces how it's so very little that causes such profound differences.
