My PC collapsed again in the heat... he's really getting old. I can't wait until I get a new one after my bday.So this means less time to draw digital, more time for drawing traditional ^^. I really missed to doodle around with my copics, tzheir lovely strong colours, their soft lines... I even missed their alcohol-like smell xD.

This was an old request, the dragoness Ember from the Spyro Universe in my style. There are already many many versions of her here on DA, but it was fun to give her one with my personal touch. I never played the Spyro game, where she is present, drew her out of my mind, so I'm sure she's not 100% correct.

Ember is all grown up it seems and well better designed off, all the jewels and crowning glory, all nicely constructed. I read somewhere she was dragoness of the rose flame or something like that, and I have to say this older version of here reflects that to me. This is a real nice traditional drawing, hope to see more.

Well glad you like my commenting on items, but I should also make clear, then I write on a spur of what I see, at the moment. I do a lot of relative comparisons besides direct art focus on what I learned about technique. I also do not know how many other pieces of art you have seen where I have commented, but I assure you I do it for all, because I feel that saying something is all well and good, but unless given a reason to why, it is lacking. I be a hypocrite if I did the same 2 word sentences myself, would I not?.

Well as far as I remember she has a heart shaped necklace, I just kept that up to keep her cute.

I know I played one of the Game Cube games and she tells spyro that he should shatter one of the crystals into a heart shape and put on a ring and give it to her, much to his horror

I assume you've read Shalone's Legend of Spyro comic, where Ember is present as a character, correct?

Yes I read it once in the past and also like Shalones design of her too, but wasn't influenced by it.
