Description Yosh! Sakuragi celebrating his dunk.. haha!

i went back to read slam dunk again recently and it still facisnates me so much! it is still so good and so exciting! when i read until the last part i still felt like crying.. dam it really touches me..

anyways, my passion for slam dunk is back so he is my fan art. i did the outline with artline pen on paper and scanned it. the colouring is done in Photoshop. took me around 3 hours altogether. the posture and expression are all imagined by myself.

ive never read slamdunk, but the drawing itsefl is pretty damn good,

the lines/colouring and anatomy are sweet,

SLAMDUNK is one of my all time favorite mangas by inoue takehiko. i just bought the SLAMDUNK 10 days after dvd. its pretty cool.

you did a good job capturing sakuragi. although something is odd around the shoulder area, and i wish the right foot wasn't cut off. but his facial expression, the left arm, the wrinkes, and the way youve drawn the muscle is very similar to inoues style, its dead on.

thanks alot^^ i had been imitating inoue since i was small.. i loved slam dunk since i was small. haha!

Slam Dunk 10 days after? is that a movie version? is it new? i must check it out!!

its a short documentary event inoue sensei did like two three years ago. or maybe more recent. he basically rented out a high school. opened the event for three days. all 26 classrooms, on the blacboard had comic book panels of slamdunks 10 days after story of the manga. fucking awesome. he drew em all without storyboards.he drew em straight by chalk on the board.

actually i have been drawing slam dunk since i was in secondary school. just that it wasnt that good.
