Thanks, I tried hard on this one. I think I spent the most time on this one out of all my colorings. I gotta love it when you guys say it jumps out at ya, that means I did well. ^^

Well, I remember that wallpaper on your desktop vividly, unlike the other desktops I saw in that desktop thread. I was like holy shit, where'd he find that wallpaper? Turns out you did it yourself. The colors match so well and everything but I don't know anything about coloring. I was thinking about asking you for advice on coloring but I'll ask AFTER I've actually put in effort into coloring.(right now I'm trying to focus on how to draw better, cause that needs tons of work) Btw, I'm from Basil if you didn't notice already.

Hm...I learned how to color from some random tuts here on DA, and sort of just built on that through experimenting. A good one to check out is Amaretti's tut for coloring, since it's a pretty good one for beginners. Feel free to ask me for advice when you get around to it though. And yeah, I know you're probably from Basil lol.

You're alot better here on deviant art. Alot of people on basil dislike you but I like alot of your comments, they crack me up. XD I'll check out Amaretti's tutorial when I start coloring. I've got to practice proportions and different perspectives a bit more. Then I've got to redraw cochaos and basschan(messed up on theirs badly) Once I think I'm ready to color I'll try it out and see how it goes. Thanks for the tutorial.

Mm, yeah, I'm more like myself here on DA. Basil is sort of an outlet for random stress and keeps me relaxed. I'll be nice on Basil when there's actually a thread that doesn't revolve around some stupid meme or relationship thread. (e.g. Photoshop problems, sports discussions)

A quick little tip, but picturing the object in real life with your mind helps with deciding where shadows go a lot of the time. Or if that doesn't work, get a mirror and try copying the pose of the thing you're coloring for an idea of where the shadows go. Make sure you're alone though...because if your parents/siblings see, they'll think you're being retarded or something.

Lol! Yes, I think I'll try and remember to look the door before trying that one.

You're right though, Basil has way too many children. Reading through all those posts I feel like posting random jokes. I love to give horrible advice for the threads asking about love advice and such.

I was experimenting a bit with photoshop earlier, some of the effects are cool.
