The final piece I made for Saturday AM magazine's 2022 "March Art Madness" contest -- which landed me a first place win! 🤯😭🏆💖
The theme for this round was to make a movie poster inspired by the magazine's "Saturday Wars" crossover comic event, featuring a bunch of their characters -- and this ended up being easily the biggest, most complicated piece I've worked on in absolutely ages (all put together in roughly 3 days!)

I'd forgotten to upload it here on DA until now, but I still can't quite believe I won, even weeks later – I’ve entered a good handful of art contests like this before, but over nearly a decade I’ve never managed to make it to first place before. It truly meant more than I can say, on so many fronts, to see all the hard work I put in coming through in such a huge way this time around. Super proud of this piece 😭💖
