Description
I was pretty disappointed with the Alola Form of Raichu. Maybe some of you felt the same. So I did a "fixed" version of the Alolan Raichu. I liked the Idea that it is surfing and its new ability, but the rest was just not good. And on top of that, the lore to Raichu becoming the Alolan Raichu is just lazy tbh.
But my "Fix" has everything:

Category: Mouse Pokémon
Type: Electro / Water
Ability: H2O Absorber / Surge Surfer
Height: 0,7 m (2'04")
Weight: 27 kg ( 59,5 lbs.)

As a result of Pikachu being the most popular Pokémon for Kids in almost every Region, a lot of Raichu are around teenagers and young adults.
Most young people of Alola enjoying the sun and the many beaches, Raichu developed a love for the sea as well. It developed a different form to be with their trainers even in the water. It gained a secondary type; Water and learned to surf on its tail. The tail end grew larger, became surfboard shaped and gained the ability to float. The pelt of Raichu became water resistant, that it doesn't soak and make it hard for Raichu to swim. Raichu's overall form change in favor of its ability to swim easily.
Other research revealed that Raichu's Alola Form has some similarities to the evolutionary line of Marill. For example its floating tail end. This suggests that the Pikachu and the Marill evolutionary line are different trees of the same family. Of course, the theories doesn't have enough evidence to be proven, but the Alolan Raichu is the first step in this research.
