I like the armour alot, its fantasy but not too much, which is great!
Its my opinion that to many that draw fantasy dont have a clue about real time armour, you are obviously not one of them!

Very impressive background. Scads of detail that make it a definite locale, and cleanly drawn. The figure is nice too, but it's the backdrop that sells this image to me.

I appreciate the compliment. This was a nice piece to do. As for drawing castles, use the real deal. We are surrounded with such fantastic architecture that can really inspire you to capture their grandeur. That's what I do, anyways. I'm always looking for some new building or perspective I have not seen. Good luck!
