The glow makes me think of the flower as being a "sun" to some extent... just the way it is kind of shining in a way.

i would love to critique this but its plain and simple you need a better lens for Macro otherwise your not going to get the sharpness for detail that make a lot of macro pics amazing. get a lens thats around 18 or 22 and i forget if an XT can do 80 for ISO

Yeah, I'm using a pretty generic lens.
And no, most DSLRs can only do 100 ISO minimum.
