Description
A birrin coastal town: some of the family are heading to the square to see what all the commotion is about.
(I will give this painting a final pass when the rest of the chapter is complete, and the designs for vehicles etc are hashed out.)

not quite clear, are the openings on the towers vents, windows, or something else?
Also the two tall things that look like trees, I am assuming they are not trees and man made to look like trees.Β If they are not trees, are they just decoration, or are they like the cell phone towers that look like trees on earth?Β Are the Brinn making some ugly piece of tech look like a tree? If they are, what are they?

I never really thought about how there would be a "convergent evolution" of a sort for wheeled vehicles, but I suppose no matter what you do with it a wheel's gotta be a wheel!

I can't imagine a quadruped species inventing stairs and ladders. They must use helicoidal ramps in their towers. There is a real life example of this in Amboise castle, where you can ride a horse all the way up to the roof terrace.

No idea it itβs intended or not, but the buildings look like larger-scale versions of the complexes back in βProtestββdome at the bottom, tower on top. Itβs one heck of an original design, I have to say.
