THERE ARE SOME INTIMIDATING ZLESDINS on the track Mari felt like pushing Pavlova to a faster pace to show Skayas...can do that too : III

Mari was determined to set up a new record on this distance as he participated for the third year at the Relay Endurance hosted by Wedgewood.
He definitely needed no more map to know the road and was also prepared for slippery routes and where he could easily speed up agin.
Ooh the first year he entered he was sure Pavlova is going to kill him XDD It was scary to him how fast he became an equestrian,
formerly he was vary about horses and no overly skilled rider either. The only thing he had from the start was a good balance XDDD
Over the years he learned to trust his mare, know her limits, her preferences, her mood, her strengths, her flaws....her whole personality.
She seemed familiar to him like she'd be his sister. A little..naive and easily scared sister who's just a bit stronger and bigger than him.
He slowly could adjust also her tack to her preferences. Finding her Sire, suddenly gave many new answers on WHY she is the way she is.
Her sire is one darn impulsive, capricious and possessive Admiralskaya stallion. Pavlova has the possessiveness as well, and the headshyness.
The stallion could only be ridden without bridle or a special rope-halter or atleast bitless bridle without too much pressure on the nose. Mari tried the same
headgear on Pavlova and it made wonders. She stopped feeling uncomfortable after longer training sessions and wasnt hyper sensitive on rein-commands.
They had just a few more strides to go to meet up with Zazu for passing along the relay-cross, only then Mari noticed how smooth things went,
how incredibly nice it was to compete with his beloved mare..aaalmost sad the day was already over. He started to fumble in his bag for the cross when he
spotted the team mates.....
