This illustration was inspired by An Unwelcome Letter go check out this amazing scene written by In that small piece they created so much world and lore about the world that I had to paint something about it hehehe
And recently (14/10/2020) inspired on this piece a new scene was written! Please GO and check it out *_* It's amazing heheh
Fires of Vengeance

Volcarona is a giant insect with a great dangerous power, fire. This is the reason this creature is hardly trainable. Its torax is convered by a fine but abundant coat that serves to keep the flames alive for a longer period of time, through the release of a special grease when exposed to fire. It's common that Volcarona covers the victim with it's torax and shakes it leaving a layer of fur over it, then it flap its wings producing the needed spark to exhale the flammable gas through its repiratory orifices. The victim burns extendedly leaving nothing but a black deform mass, not even the terrible roasted meat stench since the released grease covers it to avoid other predators stealing the feast.

This (or jumping through the crags) was the punishment used by the Queen Tythania when facing the high treason committed by three, one was her brother-in-law, killer of the King, his own brother.

Volcarona es un insecto de gran tamaño con un peligroso poder, el fuego. Por ésta razon esta criatura es casi indomable. Su tórax está cubierto por una fina pero abundante capa de pelos que sirve como prolongador de llamas, a través de la liberación de una grasa especial cuando son expuestos al fuego. Volcarona normalmente se posa sobre su victima y sacude su torax, dejando una capa de pelos sobre la misma. Luego agita sus alas y en sus articulacioe wases se produce la chispa necesaria, que se enciende al exhalar por sus conductos respiratorios el gas inflamable. La victima se quema hasta quedar mas bien una masa humeante, negra y deforme. Ni siquiera genera el terrible hedor a carne quemada; debido al mismo aceite, mecanismo para evitar que otros depredadores roben el festín del insecto.

Éste (o saltar a través de los peñazcos) fue el castigo usado por la Reina Tythania para la alta traición cometida por tres, uno era su cuñado, quien dió muerte al Rey, su propio hermano.
