Description
On a decommissioned kindergarten sanctioned planet a colony exploration gem kyanite, and his crew made a pit stop to refuel their ship and scavenge any resources viable to their mission. That's when a hostile alien smashed their ship, shattered all his crew, and cracked kyanite causing him to retreat into his gem. When he awoke Kyanite was greeted Bruno canyon jasper a gem that got left behind in the kindergarten. The jasper gem healed him, and was happy to meet another being like him. Kyanite needing to get to the wreckage of his ship asked Bruno for his assistance, in return for bringing him back to homeworld. Bruno agreed only to admit he doesn't have a weapon or know how to fight. Kyanite trained the lone jasper as the two became close. The two of them took on the creature who destroyed kyanite's ship only to find they're to weak to take him down. The two retreated only to keep trying, and trying only to fail each time.

One day Bruno asked if it was even possible to stop the alien creature. Kyanite knew of a way, but knew if he did it he could never go back to homeworld. Bruno asks what it is. Kyanite then describes fusion to the uneducated gem. Bruno agrees that they should do that only to get yelled at by kyanite only to realize the lone jasper just doesn't know any better. The next day the two make another attempt at the monster only to face the same old same old. However this time Bruno was about to be shattered by the massive alien. Not wanting to see his friend get killed Kyanite jumps in, and fuses with Bruno canyon jasper.

Forming the gigantic gem known as spectrolight the two take down the alien without any effort. The two unfused, and made their way to what was left of the wreckage only to find all the communicators were destroyed. Jasper was a little disappointed he'd never get to see homeworld, but kyanite was left even more devastated. He'd never get to go home again, or explore space ever again. While he stared up into the stars his eyes drifted back down to Bruno. He'd never experienced that level of power before, or felt like he had another gem to rely on. Sure on his ship he had his crew, but they were never truly his friends. Realizing this planet wasn't so bad after all he decided that he'd make his stay as enjoyable as possible.
