This is so ace. Agree with Bangalore monkey - very miller-ish. Bit like the 300 novel. Love it!

Most likely, Jon will die in battle against the Great Other/ Night King, but he will die defeating the great evil. Westeros will be in ruins, now financially in debt to Bravoos, and the feudal system will end, just like it did for England after the War of the Roses. The Stark line will probably be restored under Rickon, though both Arya and Sansa will be robbed of vengeance, and their innocence is forever lost, twisted by the cold, cruel realities of the world. The Lannisters will probably be wiped out, along with the Baratheons and the Boltons.

I would LOVE it if Jon Snow turned out to be the true Azor Ahai, and I'd especially love it if he went forth with leading a successful rebellion. It would be an awesome turn of events.

Jon Snow is dead and is not coming back, unless Melisandre brings him back with blood magic: for which she would need the blood of another king...

The book doesn't actually say that Jon is killed, he's just stabbed in four different places, i.e. wounded. Last time I checked, George R.R. Martin has a knack for making it seem as though characters are killed, only to reveal later that they're very much alive.

It was like in Feast for Crows, when everyone thought Brienne was dead. Turns out Lady Stoneheart aka undead Catelyn Stark sparred her at the last minute so that she could bring her Jaime.

"And he was born among salt and smoke under a star" consider that in that chapter's end

It makes sense considering, in terms of a typical fantasy setting, Jon Snow is the closest thing the series has to a Main Character.

Jon Snow as Azor Ahai . . . . oh please oh please oh please.

I was very saddened by the . . . events that occured to Jon Snow at the end of A Dance with Dragons. But Jon Snow as Azor Ahai . . . might be a possibility.

Don't worry. I'm pretty sure he's not dead at all. His soul may be in Ghost until Melisandre fix his body (just like Thoros does with Beric).
