Backstory:
Being the youngest of three siblings and having two older brothers. Shirley Rodriguez stood out from her older brothers, and her fellow peers by being a very energetic and determined individual. Who would take on any challenge no matter how difficult it was, or the odds stacked against her. Growing up shd has shown to be highly intelligent and excelling in all her classes in school while she was growing. However overtime she considered her normal day to day life was getting tiring on her and craved a challenge in her life. At the age she became an adult she final got that challenge.

Once she turned eighteen years old she enlisted in the Aurelian Army deciding to serve in her country's armed forces. She stood out from the rest of her fellow recruits as she shown intelligence on how to work with explosives. Knowing how to take them apart and put them together as well as to arm and disarm them. With her knowledge and skills she joined the Aurelian Bomb Squad and throughout her years of service in the army she saved countless lives with her able to disarm explosives. For being the youngest soldier in the army she has proven who skill both on and off the battlefield. However unfortunately her record of disarming expolives would come to an end as she was disarming a explosive landline. A enemy soldier open fired at her hitting the land mine making it explode as a result she lost her arms that day.

She was successfully escorted off the battlefield and rush back home into intense medical care for her injuries. While she was in the hospital with her family they were approached by a LDN marine recruiter who wanted to recruit Shirley in the marines. Stating her experience in EOD would prove valuable to the ongoing war effort as well the marines needed experience men and women on the frontlines. Since the decision was Shirley's alone she agreed to join the LDN marines. After receiving new cybernetic enhancements and psssed basic training. She quickly joined the LDN 86th Marine Crops serving on the frontlines with her demolition squad made Dexter known as Dex. Throughout her tours of duty with him there were rumors these two had a fling of relationship during the war. Though no one can confirm or deny it though whatever it is it is kept between those two.

To this day after the war Shirley served in the marines still as a member of the motor pool once again showing her talents once again. As she repairs and maintains vehicles her brothers and sisters in arms ensuring they are return home. Despite losing so much Shirley she remains chipper with a positive attitude. Showing her best to her family and comrades both on and off the battlefield. To this day she has proven her worth as both a soldier and a friend. Traits that bet suit her as a typical Aurelian.
