This makes me laugh every time. I've had glasses like that for a long time and mostly wear contacts, so I can relate. That's why I giggle stupidly time and time again.

i just recently got glasses! they'rre bugging me though, keep feeling wierd on bridge of nose, on top of that, me no know how to draw lasses!!!

I tried contact lenses for a week then gave up and went back to my glasses. One contact wouldn't stay in for long and the other would bother me for 4 hours before it settled down enough to not be irratating.

My friend had known me for 3 years before I got glasses. A few months after I got them, I took them off for a few minutes to clean them; he looked at me and said that he hadn't recognised me because the glasses had made me all squinty!

I've worn glasses since middle school. Always wire-frames, but if I had a choice...I'd go for the Buddy Holly/Drew Carey style frames.

Their nice on you though you make them look natural and lovly and im not being a suck up im sicier if they looked bad on you photo I shall tell you, but in my true perspected they are sofistacted on you not everyone can were soem but then theres allways diferten typesd of shades as for me I can only were thin classes and not bucly for my fautres are not to apara but those are lovly on you =^^=

Well, I did not have the chance to wear contacts yet, but I can tell you glasses are not comfortable. And contacts seem to me to be comfortable, especially when you watch a movie from your bed, or when you wash your face, and let's not talk about the fact the periferic vision is impared...

I've been wearing glasses since grade 6 and yes, they may not be all that comfortable, but I got used to it and now it's a normal thing to have them.
I've tried contacts as well. I have to agree that they are way more convenient since you can look down from let's say a high tower without worrying about your glasses falling down and you can take a shower/bath while actually seeing something. And there are way more situations like those.
But for me, I went back to wearing glasses. It took a while to find a brand of contacts that was okay for me. The first few trials my optician gave me made my eyes all read and it hurt. I'm also not too good with getting them in and out, you have to buy new ones while the glasses are only paid once.
So personally I find glasses more comfortable, but that's different for everyone I'd say.

I have only a couple of months since I wear glasses. My initial point of view on glasses was: Since I have problems only with seeing far away I will wait until they get to the point where it is really incovenient and then have surgery. But some female acquintances insisted and they wore me down. Saw on your page you are left handed. Doesn't it feel strange? I mean most of people we are right handed.

Oh, you just got them. That explains why you're so uncomfortable wearing them. I can tell you HATED wearing glasses when I didn't have them for too long. Was even worse when I was the only person in my school class with glasses since it only added to my reputation of being a nerd...
But by now I've been wearing glasses for about 14 years and I got used to them.
I've always been afraid of getting a surgery since there still is the slight chance of something getting wrong and I rather wear glasses instead of taking the risk of getting blind or have eye pain.
It's actually rather other people who feel strange when they see me writing/drawing with my left hand. I mean, I see people using their right hand all the time, so that doesn't look strange to me at all.
I have to admit it does bring some disadvantages with it. Such as when writing with a pen you have to hold your wrist a bit different unless you want to smudge everything you just wrote (about like this [link] ).

I tries writting with my left, but it is hard, and it hurts when I try it. My mother is left-handed, but she does not held her wrist like that. She can write with both hands.Liked your avatar. Cat ears?

It's always hard to write with the other hand. When I try to write with my right hand it looks horribly shaky and it takes ages.

I think I'm a bit of both. I like being alone and doing things on my own, so that would make me a cat person, but I'm also not independent enough and I don't have a problem with following orders, so sometimes the dog side takes over.
