Screaming, all Echo could hear. He was using his magic to listen for cries of help but was interrupted with one voice. One Scream. One last plead. His heart started to race, he looked around frantically trying to find the source of the fading plead. He pushed off the ground with great focus and flew, he flew towards the now soft voice, a small burning square and in the middle a crying gro. She'd givin' up. Echo landed with newfound determination and adrenaline. She looked up when one of his feathers lightly landed on her nose, "Hey! I'm going to get you out of here, I promise! I need you to stay still, I don't want to hurt you even more" She gave a quick nod and Echo shakingly lifted the bead off her leg. The sight, the poor thing, he was frozen staring at the mutilated leg he had just uncovered.
He quickly shook his head and ofter a hand in helping her up. "Come on," he said while having her lean on him for support "We need to get you help and now." He started to head to a safe location with her in his grasp and the Deelagun to their backs.
