For a friend at my old school, who has cancer and is going through really bad conditions....
this picture was made in a rush because we don't know when he could be gone....
I just hope that everything will be alright

Haha he still affects other's lives after he's gone ... this is incredible..

This reminded me of The Thousand Paper Cranes book as well. It really is sad that sickness happens. Sometimes all it takes is a image to get through to people when thousands of words were useless. I understand this because my Grandmother has cancer it's terminal. In life it can be taken away in a second.

this is heart warming. i myself went to school with some one who has cancer.. and i didnt know because it wasnt bad but suddenly it shot up recently and she is hospitalized. it kind of shocked me and i feel terrible, im trying to donate to her hospital funds with what little money i have. but regardless of that, this is sweet, and as its own piece its very lovely.

This picture is beautiful. I first heard the story of Sadako when I was growing up in Japan. It was fifteen years later that I made the thousand cranes myself as a tribute to my sister who died before I was born. I absolutely love anything to do with the story these days. I'm truly sorry about your friend. What a beautiful tribute to their life.
