It didn't matter how hard I tried to understand-

'Lookit what I found, Daddy!'

I never could.

But that never mattered, did it?

'Daddy, Daddy! I drew my dream! This is Mama and a rock and a frog and Mama's google-eye-holder and a candle with a rainbow and...'

'You awake now?'

You never let any of that stop you.

'GALAHAD!'

Even though sometimes I wish it would.

You've made me angry.

You've made me worry.

But above all- you've made me happy.

You drive me crazy, but I still love you.

=]

Another 'D'aaaw~' moment for those watchers of mine who want something more along the lines of 'BK: In my Father's Footsteps' I did a while back. Moar Lancelot and Galahad fluff.

Just a few notes:

*Lancelot is a French Knight (hence the 'du Laq' (aka 'of the Lake') frequently added to his title ), so in my interpretation, Lancelot grew up with the French language. He had to learn English (despite having been raised in England), which is always a difficult process. As a result, at least when he's younger, he has trouble understanding concepts and words... like butter+fly, two very separte things.
** The printing press was invented by Johannes Gutenberg around 1440, in the middle of the 15th century. King Arthur and company are usually set in the Dark Ages, shortly after the fall of Rome, as in the early 500s onward. Stories would have been told without the aid of any sort of written works, but this event is based off of my own personal childhood, and I wasn't sure how to re-work a book. Sorry. X3
