That's one of the most creative strips in the world of comics. And Krazy really deserves some love... much more than the one shown by Ignatz!
Glad to see you like,   so much for your kindness!!

It's been a long time since I've seen KK and IM in some fanart, so this was a nice surprise to see. Nice job getting both their style as well as Ka's likeness down so well here. Well done and keep at it.

An unusual and hilarious comic strip like Krazy Kat always deserves to be reminded. It was pretty stimulating doing it, I really enjoyed the final result. By the way, here's a recent KK version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tMlMi…
Thanks a million, Rich!

Krazy Kat is going to give the bat to Kaa, only to get the brick in return. That's gratitude for you.

I used to read KK comics during the 60s, although they were done by other artists; I only got to know something else about the original with the KFS animated cartoons, since the style was the closest then - at least for me - just because I didn't know the really first ones yet (from the 10-20s). About Charles Mintz' version... Sad to say, but he did to Krazy just the same he had done to Disney's Oswald the Rabbit.
But this latest one is certainly definitive: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tMlMi…
And yes, I got to know the original comics much time later, too.

Yeah, I see his influence of Ub Iwerks non Fleischer supervise art direction style along with a post Dover Boys Chuck Jones influence for his storyboard cued gags. Shame that his creator George Herriman's name I forget without double checking on Wikipedia in contrast to Winsor McCay, but it's funny how that theirs still a popular consensus in the mass media culture of the United States which under credits allot of black professionals as equal human beings that aren't melody based musicians, pop acts, professional athlete's in Basketball, Boxing, and pigskin Football, or Eddie Murphy style minstrel show comedians to being crass just for the sake of being "black".
