Description
This was a request for Scion on NSHC-studio.net. Scion writes the best orders; this was to be a mare with a sea-theme, who hides behind a mask of innocence. Lots of symbolism here, but I won't bore you by listing them.

It was a CC image from flickr, but the photographer seems to have vanished afterwards. I had her username written down though, so all I could to was credit that. Even google didn't come up with a result. Sorry I can't help with a link.
If you're looking for some grey andies to manipulate though, I know Hoodsey on deviantart has some awesome andy photos that she's let people use with permission and credit. Stockhorse has some similar ones too.

Considering this was my request, lol. Ja, I love the picture, it was so well done- awesome job Nova.
And as for my mind and creating characters.... welll, tis hard to explain. I have like an abstract thinking pattern and a lot of my characters come from those three o clock in the morning coffee cravings followed by digesting a book.

XD. Scion! *tacklesandwatches* Heh, middle of the night musings, I know exactly what you're talking about. My ideas kind of start out as musings like "What if I tried to do a picture of a..." which becomes an obsession within the next few days or weeks until I have to photoshop it to relieve the pressure of the muse squeezing my brain. But they're just based off appearance, that's all. Yours are more detailed because you give them well thought-out histories, personalities, and appearance.
Love your amazon post with Sirenia! The music kind of reminds me of Loreena McKennitt's stuff.

Chah tis me! Ceara was like stalking me and I didn't know it until today. xD Yeah, most of my characters, posts, and pictures are actually started at amazingly early hours either listening to music or drinking coffee. I suck at pictures though so it's more writing and stuff.

I'm just waiting to see who picks up on Sarin, she's particularly fascinating to me. She's the result of not sleeping for three days with the nightmare of some ghoulish pin-ghost-thing chasing me. I just turned it into a horse.

I really love the tutorial that she wrote about writing requests too. I'm planning on giving the news page, guidelines and rules sections a bit of an overhaul soon. When I do, I'll be including her tutorial somewhere so that everyone can read it!

Oh, yes. And really, I think the tutorial will help people to develop better characters too, not just personalizing requests. They'll see what makes certain characters 'special'.
