Here we go: I don't have a favorite brand of ink or paints, but Badger inks and Createx paints are very good choices. The main airbrush that i use is a Iwata Revolution Bcr, really efficient on textile surfaces. The air pressure is set on 30 PSI, but this is only my personal preference.
The general process: Drawing work first, taking the time that's needed: Do not rush this stage, specially on portrait works. The painting process if from light to dark. I use at least four stages of grays before achieve the final black color. The best part for me, the final highlights with opaque white, this brings the whole thing to life. Highlights must be done carefully (just only is needed), because the entire piece que be ruined.
Remember that , i'm self-thought and everything written here is what works for me. I'm sure that a professional airtist can give you a better step by step process, but, i hope you can get anything useful here.
Thank you very much for watch my work!

I brought sum createx paints and airbrushed some singlets but they mostly came out in the wash, i did use an iron on them, maybe i need to use better quality shirts and maybe put more paint on ??? Im not really sure how i went wrong. Do you paint onto black tshirts with white first and then and then draw on your design or draw the design first and then put down the base? What do you use a white pencil? Also what do you thin your paint down with? Do you do alot of layers and how long does an tshirt normally take to paint, perhaps im going to fast, Sorry for all the questions

Hello! Try washing the t-shirts first. I don't paint a flat white base, instead, i generate the general volumes (and all possible datail) whit white paint. The pencil i use is a Polychrome white to draw the image on the shirt. Avoid the use of a washing machine, and use cold water. Hope this can help you. And sorry for my poor english. Greetings!
