I'm sorry, but I cannot get past Roland's exposed midriff and curvy hips. He reminds me of one of those bodacious babes on fantasy book covers with her clothes all conveniently ripped to show off her toned abs. If I weren't so distracted by the weirdness of this cliche, I'd be more inclined to all the wonderful elements in this piece. Your background is fab, I love the stylization of their faces, and your Oy is great. King always describes Oy as having a "foxy" face, but I always pictured him as more of a weasel-like animal, like yours is here.

Gay Roland, anyone?
But seriously, nice job. I like the coloring as is. The billybumbler, however, looks like an anteater.

Nice picture.
I've always pictured Oy to be a bit fluffier looking, but it look great!
Nice job with picking up King's little details.

this is so very well done. your style just suits the piece terrifically, if thats a word.
and I love how roland's shirt is half missing. this is exactly how I wouldve imagined him after tearing the strips off, piece by piece.

And you SCRAPPED it?
I would chop off my right hand to draw as well as you do and you scrapped it?
(My heart cries blood for this)
I love the light colouring on their clothes and the dusty feeling!
And Oy, he's so cute!!!!

Very, very good! What makes it so very, very good, is that you've actually painted it with paint, instead of doing it in paintshop. I think too many people use paintshop or other similar programs. Yeah, and also it is a good picture, real paint or not. Keep painting!

Yeah, I agree, it can be really good, and several of my favourites are "paintings" done on computers. It's just that too many do it this way. And I think it seems like they're taking the easy way; if you do anything wrong, it's just to undo it. If you paint or draw with your own hands, using traditional mediums, and it looks good, this is much more impressing than a good computerpicture. And it seems a bit... sterile when people sit by their computers creating art, instead of using paint and pencils and charcoal.
A good day to you, Dutch gentleman
