Tarantula is a member of an elite team of spider powered metahumans, called The Spider Squad. Tarantula is the biggest (7ft 9inch, 272.6lbs), and concidered to be the most dangerous of the team. He's the result of an experiment of genetic splicing, giving humans, certain animal traits. He has the proportionate strength of a Goliath Tarantula, venom that could kill a full grown man, the ability to climb up almost any surface, a cluster of small glands in the back of his hands and a bigger one in the small of his back that makes webbing. The negative effects he also has are multiple eyes, and his arachnid instincts are often in control, which makes him very aggressive, even to his own team. So now he has to be injected with a "Chill Serum", every few hours, so that his human side can gain control.

Fun Fact: Tarantula doesn't eat in a traditional manor, he prefers hunting for his food, and suposedly, has the same eating method that wandering arachnids do (look it up, it's quite interesting).
