First ever imaging of Leia as a pilot?
Now it's official in Dark Horse's new Star Wars ongoing series!

Do you have any prints of this, or is it a Topps exclusive? If so, do they have any prints (roughly poster size) of this picture? I'm in a mad search for non-Slave-Leia prints.

This is a really great idea and it was beautifully executed. It would have been pretty awesome to see Leia work as a fighter pilot during the Death Star run.

That novel is incredible. I love it, and treasure my copy. My eyes popped out of my head when I first read that part: Leia flying a Y-Wing. Glad somebody got to do a trading card of that! Maybe I should go looking for that... lol Didn't know there were cards out of that novel. Rare to see art for the old books like that. Love the crossdraw holster, BTW. Excellent touch!

i' ve read the german version of the comic adaption; they encounter darth vader and we see leia during the battle at the end with his former lightsaber trying to hold him off while luke, who is stuck beneath a rock, gets help from one of the two yuzzum they encountered earlier in a prison but it is the last thing the yuzzum does; he dies after luke is free to catch his lightsaber

That totaly awesome!
Just one thing... the helmet wouldn't fit when she is with that hair. Maybe put on the same hair that she used at the Return of the Jedi just after she meets wicket (she lost her hat).
But the artwork is really outstanding!!!! I love this style! All your gallery is fabulous!
Congrats!

Oh yeah your right. My mistake. Your analogie makes perfect since. The background is life like in an artistic way, the shadow is subtle on the bottomn half, but very dramatic on the top half. But aside from that you melded the two together in perfect harmony. Im not sure how many cards you did, or even if you did all of them, but this one is amazing, and if this is the only one you did, im sure it outshined all the other ones in the deck. if it wasnt for a card thingy, I bet you could hang this up in a gallery somewhere and make millions! I dont mean to project my ambitions onto your own, im just trying to say in a clever and long winded way thats its an amazing piece a of art. the colors, the shadows. it really plays to your art style and i can only hope to have one of my own very soon. my gallery is in a mess, and my own artwork is in its infancy, but something tells me im about to achieve a greater level of artistic abilitys. just keep doing what your doing, becouse all of your art work looks great. you set the bar man. thank you.
