Description We have been short on rain in my corner of Australia, but there has been enough to keep the crops growing, if not enough to fill some dams.

Here you can see wheat & canolla growing side by side and a storm rolling in.

No croc's down my part of Australia, but we do see plenty of kangaroos and emu's in among the crops.

Wonderfully vibrant greens and yellows. Awesome how the sky is the darkest part of the picture.

This is really neat Eve. The colour contrast and the dark sky really catch the eye. Shame about the fence in the foreground - I think it detracts a little from the natural feel of it a little. Great photo irrespective.

Very nice colors! I like the way you didn't divide it down the center, but slightly off.

AdamsWife In reply to PatGoltz [2007-10-01 23:01:25 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much Pat. I was undecided where to put the fence, but after moving the camera around, I kept being drawn to this.

You're welcome. "Unbalanced" is almost always better. It doesn't make good composition otherwise.

Beautiful composition, Eve, darling. The fence in the middle is an IT for me. And the color contrast is amazing.

AdamsWife In reply to Irena-N-Photography [2007-09-30 01:17:44 +0000 UTC]

Thank you my dear. I almost didn't add this to my gallery as my other half said he didn't like the fence cutting through the middle of the photo. But then I thought 'What does he know, he only photographs flowers'

That only proves that we all have different tastes. I have few of my own that I posted only because my daughter insisted and I was surprised that others liked them to.
