This flower is in my garden and each time it came into bloom I photographed it, but it took a long time to get an image I was proud of. Thank you.

My pleasure m'deer, and I've noticed you watching Wells Cathedral & the Bishop's Palace are my local patch so to speak but I've got to find fresh horizons. Have been over to Bath today, & will be going there again next week weather permitting, with my cameras. The Abbey and the Roman Baths, I've got to shoot a few rolls on those

Oh I do have other plants in flower, but these are near my kitchen window and they brighten my day when I'm doing that dreary job - washing the dishes.

I'm sad, they are starting to die off. But they have given me much pleasure as I look through my kitchen window. They take my mind off the dishes

Thank you my dear. I have to learn Jim's camera because he doesn't read instructions and I do. So I learn, then teach. He's adamant that he will not learn how to use the computer though, so I have double the editing work now Not that I mind, as while I'm doing his stuff I give orders on what you can do for me

thank you Ricky, I have no idea how I got the black background. I guess it's because I exposed for the bright flower in sunshine and behind that was our veranda but it was about 2 metres away and in deep shadow. Thank you for the

Thank you Yes, this is a close-up of the previous Iris photo. The water from the washing machine goes onto the flowerbed where they grow, so they have had plenty to drink to make them grow.
