The only image I could find for the alt cover I drew for UDON's STREET FIGHTER comic... Pencils by me, colors (applied directly over the pencil layer) by the great Arnold Tsang. Similarly, I did script and pencils for the four-page "Cammy v. Chun Li" story in that same issue (#2).I'll post the four different roughs for the cover over in the "scraps" section (dial-up willing, that is). Judge for yourself if Capcom chose the right one to use for the final cover... (Personally, I think they made the right choice.)

Having Chun Li and Cammy front and center is a lot better than, say, Dhalsim or E. Honda. I mostly played as Chun Li, sometimes as Cammy. I was never able to do better than four rounds because I couldn't get the hang of all the joystick/button combos (same deal with Mortal Kombat). Back in my day, all you needed was a joystick and a couple of buttons--and a roll of quarters.

Holy shitzu... I wish I could say that I've followed your art since the beginning, but I didn't stumble upon you until that Gen13 book, where Grunge explains to Roxy how his action movie would turn out. Gonna go check out the rest of your gallery now.
Also, I enjoy your sketches and inks, more than I enjoy the colored versions. Not sure why.

Oh wow, I have this issue, but mine is a different cover.
I personally think Vega and Sakura have the strongest expressions in this piece. Chun-Li and Cammy are cool looking and all, but they seem a little tacked-on when they're just floating there.
