Platinum- yes the illusive creature from the dark has finally showed its face. Quite honestly its my ONLY platinum right now and I got it in by chance. this guy is absolutely drop dead Gorgeous! and is nearly if not a platinum cross. as for me alittle bit on the standard platinum to be cross. very VERY faint cross markings more so on his head but obviously there.However he's not quite what I've been looking for and may be up for sale. I had ALOT of people asking for platinums for awhile and I had not had any to give. I don't even have one for myself. This is the first plat I have gotten in in awhile, however the luck to you hes still not quite what im looking for.
This guy is open for offers if he really stikes your fancy. I also have red plats available this year as well.

I really can't wait to mount this guy up! I did a second glance at him and considered a LS at one point. Sadly I need the money but if he don't get a decent offer then I'll probably keep him like the evil horder that I am!

do you get the ranchies from the same breeder?

No, I have about 4 ranchers I buy from yearly. The one we know about usually has the most and most unique but is also the most expensive. There's one other guy who offers unique colors and by far the best fur quality. However he's tricky to work with and has been known to take the money and not send the fox. This is the guy I get these plats from. I am literally gambling 2,000 dollars alone this year and hopes he will ship two standard plats and apparently 2 unique white marks. Β He by far has the most top grade silvers!Β
The other two usually only offer standard colors like, reds, silvers, marbles and sunglows. But they also have great fur quaity. I usually get 5-8 fox from them per year. (Trust me half the stuff you see isn't what I really got lol)

do they send the fox to the tannery or do you? can you recommend a rancher to me? I'm hoping to snare some loos ones that haven't sold yet this year, but I don't know who to go to. I got a Sun Glo and I hope to mount that pretty asap and AK silvers, white, and reds for this years commissions, though I'm hoping to get my little paws on something nice for the coming year. Any thoughts? I can note you if you like.

I don't have a price set, its a possibility I may not sell him. I contacted another guy who said he had a platinum. paid out of the ass for it. so it really depends if the new one comes in that's better than this one with a fuller collar I will list him for sale. in the mean time I'm entertaining offers.
I don't usually pay attention to tails these days. accept a silver white mark that had a interesting colored tail LOL other than that I pay more attention to pattern and density. and this fox is FLUFFY and soft. decent size too! over all though the face is what gets me on him the most!

Tails are about everything! I rarely choose the pelt over the tail. Gotta have a nice tail. I did find one with a poor tail I was okay with. This fox does look soft but the gradients in that tail is what gets me! Got great shades too. That eyeliner is lovely.
