It's almost finished version but I wanted to submit it here because I though you may be curious
were you?I don't know if I have put it into the correct category because it's made in aquaforta (akwaforta po polskiemu
) and there was nothing like this to choose :>And I'm also sorry for the quality but the piece is 50x35 cm big so it just couldn't be scanned in one piece

This is great. I've never tried etching - I bet it's hard. You seem to have a blance between the dark and the light, the lightness of the lamp draws your eyes to the fairy. I wasn't until I saw her that I looked for and found more fairies!
I'm aure this would make a nice illustration.

Good etching, this plate could go denser in spots - some drypoint or roulette work on top could be just the thing.

It's really detailed, I like it.
You did well with the lantern light, though I would add more shadows under the table and more of a gradient out from the source of the light. Just a nit pick...it's great as-is.

Nie mogłem się doczekać. To znaczy - dalej nie mogę, bo to nie jest wersja finalna, com?
Ale podoba mi się bardzo. No i wyobrażam sobie, że w dużym formacie widać to wszystko trochę wyraźniej.
Ale powiem w końcu najważniejsze: powalający klimat. Zdecydowanie jest to ilustracja z książki, którą kiedyś bardzo chciałbym przeczytać... Ten nastrój całkowicie mnie rozbraja. Jestem pod wielkim wrażeniem - tak techniki jak i Twojej wyobraźni

To nie jest wersja ostateczna bo to jest w sumie pierwsza odbitka na czysto jaka zrobilam, a bede ta blache odbijac jeszcze pewniez 15 razy, to cos chyba jeszcze dorobie
Wydaje mi sie ze po raz pierwszy osiagnelam dokladnie taki efekt jaki sobie wymyslilam na samym poczatku
