Description
Original title is "Love Sings with a Minstrel's Voice," but it's a tad too long for DA.Semiyar and Diana, a couple affectionately referred to as "the bird and the bard." Two special characters from entirely different worlds who found they had something to offer each other. This piece has been in progress for a very long time, but I haven't had a moment to really work on it until this week. I read your book, Saberondan. You changed the ending it seems. Mereet lives in your novel but dies on your website info lmfao. I kind of liked the bitter sweetness of Semiyar sticking with her even after she'd become a shell of her former self. I'm a bit sad to see him with another woman. xD I really like their relationship.

She died in the novels, too, but the story was never published to that point because the third book was never finished. ^__^;; He was with her until the end. The website info covers a little further beyond the briefly-released novels, and also incorporates the personal rp in which my characters still live and thrive.

He does? He looks really young here. xD; And your website says that Mereet died wandering the shores till her death, never knowing what happened Semiyar or Faldevon. So how could he have stayed with her until the end?

The website info has been changed to merge with my current rp, since the novels are no longer entirely relevant. In the novels Semiyar stayed with her until her death--she lived with him in a shack in the forest. In the current storyline here with Diana, he and Mereet were separated at the end. It is very confusing for those who have read the original stories, I know, lol. But Silenes can live 200 years, so Semiyar isn't even going to approach looking middle age until he's over 100. XD

Yeah that novel is the ending that I remembered and that's why I was like "Why does he hook up with another woman?"
It is sort of nice to see Semiyar find love again, though I still really liked the bittersweet ending you gave him and Mereet in the novel. Their relationship is really cute and it's really sad but adorable to see how loyal he is (or was lmfao) to her.
I also just like Semiyar a lot in general. Would you mind if I drew him? lol

The one thing that touches me the most is the expression on the girls' face. There's so much emotion captured there. I want to be able to capture and transcend emotion like this too, someday ^__^
