“Hey-ho!” laughed Indira breezily as she finished putting Bruno into an exceedingly uncomfortable hogtie. “Now to drag you into that waiting closet and gag you! I did warn you this is how you would end up!”Bruno, unable to soothe his bruised face or think of anything clever, crude or redeeming to say to salvage his crushed ego, decided to keep his own counsel.
The spandex-clad female spy began to tug Bruno ignominiously across the floor towards the cupboard. “I did say that we could have saved a lot of time if you had just given up at the start. Then I wouldn’t have to have wasted time kicking your ass - although that didn’t take very long, come to think of it.”
By now she had gagged him, so Bruno couldn’t reply to the female musing even if he had wanted to.
“Of course,” Indira continued to herself, “you guys are paid by the hour so saving time is not really your thing, is it?”
“Mmmmph!” replied Bruno at last. Roughly translated that meant: “Oh shut up! Please, ma’am…”
