no, just drawing it by hand and then doing it in photoshop. I did get the metal texture from cgtextures.com, but apart from that its just me.

These Oryah people sound like the Dothraki.

yeah I admit that they do and I will also admit that I do love the Song of Ice and Fire series. But I also have a passion for military history which does include the Mongols, Huns etc on which the Dothraki are based. I had the idea of a nomadic horse people in my head before I first read a Game of Thrones, but I tried to change it up a little bit so they don't sound too much like the Dothraki.
Besides, what's a medieval fantasy world without a little bit of barbarian nomadic horsemen?

Cheers. I think its probably impossible to make a completely unique nomadic steppe culture while the maintaining that whole concept in the first place. And with the growing popularity of A Song of Ice and Fire, comparisons are inevitable I suppose.

I don't think so. Rohan is a much more permanent society, with cities and towns. They certainly place a lot of emphasis on horsemanship, but they aren't nomadic like the Dothraki. If you look at a nomadic people, its sort of like a continual migration, the entire tribe, including the women and children, on the move. Any dwellings erected are temporary.
