I think the blue leaf like thing and areas, cld use some more work.... I could understand that this is pretty much a work in progress. Really loved the usage of colors and shades here. I really really loved the eye part. I think this is done spot on. I'm not a super art critique or something, but from a general art lover perspective i think this is a really nice work and there is of course room for some changes. But yes overall, very well done indeed... she does look quite amazing nevertheless. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/> . Looking forward to see a final version. all the best!

I love the sense of direction in the piece, all the points (meaning the tips from the leaves and the purple flower petals) lead to the character's face, and frame her gorgeously accentuated left eye. That, to me, says you were looking for a focal point. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
Speaking of, the focal point itself is very pretty, but it doesnt take away from the rest of the details like her lips, expression, and environment, along witht he overall color scheme.
In the color scheme, I love how the colors seem to deviate from the usual red hair+green eyes idea. The colors used are more fresh, and mysterious.
Another thing I'd like to add, is how I so very much admire your ability to use what seems to be random brush smudges that come together and make an entire image. Take the rough foliaged background for example: if you take it apart and look at eat item, its meaningless, but the way you put it together, it creates a shaded forest. That's part of what psychologists call "recombination", which is a key element in true Creativity.
Conclusion:
Excellent work! Each portrait you create makes me want to write about the person(s) in it. Your art makes me want to tell the story I get when I look at it. I'm excited to see what you come up with next; I'm a big fan e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā€¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
