I think it is one of the most awesome landscape shots I've seen here in a while. of course it's kind of an advantage to live in an area where you can shoot such landscape. but nevertheless I think this picture is stunning, and I even can tell you why.
at first (I don't know where to start realy): I totaly dig the colours and the ligthing, it feels like I was standing there, having a light breeze in my hair and so on, you captured the moment perfectly, it breathes "dawn".
the next thing would be well balanced composition which leads to an astonishing depth of field, the mountains are far away but still look like mountains and not hills, they lead the view right along into the depths of the picture, and then you start to discover the details in the picture... the houses the beachline and everything....
and finaly those clouds are awesome, great capture then.
so if this was just a trial, I'll now go and have a look at your gallery
