Earlier, we had a shoot with ~MorningMiracle and she dressed up as Lady Fujitsubo from Murasaki Shikibu's Genji Monogatari. It's a classic novel, written way during the Heian Period in Japan. So I really admired our model here for wearing 4 or 5 layers of clothing on a hot summer day with a temperature that felt more than 40 degrees C.

I really liked having this shoot. Through this, I was able to read about the Tale of Genji even for just a bit. Which is really really nice, though.

BTW, Fujitsubo literally means 'wisteria pavilion'. The characters in the novel are referred to by the place where they came from. Hmm. That's what I've read. Her character is really interesting, especially the novel, so please look it up.
