My contest entry for contest [link]The theme of the contest is something based on Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics Games. So I decided to have Sonic doing a ski jump.
Although fairly simple this was fun to do. I'll be the first to admit its not perfect, the shadows refused to work, but still I think its a decent animation.
One thing about the cheesy smile, I think I've been working with Jerro to much lately.

Great work! I love the way the jump isn't done in the typical ski jump style but you have added your own spice on it! Very nice movement.
And what comes to cheesy smile - well, heros must also thank their fans and audience by wawing and smiling.

Its not quite what I wanted, but given the contests time restriction I had fun making an unusual jump.
