Description
So another drawing of Link. This time it's not link from wind waker but instead "old" Link. From what game? Well, original thought was Ocarina of Time yet it could just as well be Twilight Princess I guess.How ever, feel free to throw me some constructive criticism on this one since I actually spent the whole evening drawing it. Also since I am quite happy with the result. Making it harder for me to see parts that I could have done better I guess :/.
By the way, if you wish the "download" version of this should be the correct dimensions for a wallpaper (for most screens). Just sayin' :3

As somebody pointed out earlier, the scars add a lot of depth to his face, not to mention the slightly angular look to his features make it look like he has been through hard times. Is Link supposed to be middle-aged in this picture?
There is also a sense of anger and bitterness to his face. Was this intentional? Perhaps he has grown disillusioned with being a hero.

I think you've noticed more stuff in this pic that I've never even thought of myself haha. So no, it was not intentional haha. But yeah, perhaps that's why ^^

Now here is an idea...how about Link in his early-40s has become bitter as Zelda has gone off to become queen of the kingdom and has forgotten about him as she has a new young hero, injuries from previous battles have left him in chronic pain and he is starting to develop arthritis and he has since retreated into alcoholism and resentment.

Oh wow, I love the whole overshadowing tone of this. It's so dark and brooding and even the light glancing off his eye is dark.... makes me wonder where he could be.... I'd guess somewhere around Ganon's Castle, but, with how old he is here, I wonder....
Or maybe it took him longer to defeat the evil king than we thought.
The lighting and shading are just great; I love the contrast, even with all the colors being so dark.
And also.... love the scars.

I personally think it's a bit too dark now when I look back at it. Should have had some brighter sources.
Aww, you made up a lil story and everything. That's so cute, never had a person doing that for one of my pictures before! Didn't think this one had so much to tell. Or you just got a wide imagination which is great! Love making up stories for pictures myself as well

Lol, funny cuz me and a friend spoke on skype while I was drawing this. And we joked about him being mad because he cannot manage water temple. xD Though in the original sketch, he looked alot more angry.

Ah, I think it went a bit too far outside Links original look. But I do like that they experiment a bit tho. So I don't mind.
