Last of the designs that I did for Iron Star.

This one happens to be my favorite. She's called Gennette, but it's not really her callsign, and I don't think I ever thought up one for her. Anyway, her design is based on the me-262.

Since she's based off the first jet fighter and from what I remember, was supposed to be the only jet character, resulting in her being very fast. Those open panels were originally done simply to show off the interior engine, but I suppose they could also be used as air brakes.

Her lower legs are auxiliary fuel tanks. Originally her legs would end at the knees, and she'd be supported by the claw things in the engines, but that looked too weird, so I decided to keep the lower legs and conveniently thought of the idea for the conformal fuel tanks. Jets are fuel hogs after all.
