very nice job. Horses are always tricky with their differently shaped heads. Her tattoos are challenging as well. I've done this character as a trade as well.

Indeed, you bring up a very good point, I'd like to get your opinion on. Should I get rid of that star on her forehead between her eyes? I gave her that star because her mother had one, but I'm finding in both this and your renditions that star was missing. So, just get rid of it?

Not sure. I must have just missed it but the reference I used might have had her head at a side view so I could not see it. Sorry if I did.

Thanks for your input. I think I'll keep the star on her head because her mother has one, so the mark is like a mother/daughter heirloom.

I'm curious as to your opinion too. I've noticed that most other artists, only 1 out of 5, draw her with the star on her forehead. I only gave her that star because her mother had one, but I'm wondering if I should just get rid of it, seeing as most renditions leave it out. What do you think?

Oh! Sorry, I totally missed that :">
I don't think you should do away with it, though. I think most of the references showing the star have her head turned upward or her hair might be covering part of it, so some might forget its there.

Thanks. I was rather attached to it myself. Her mother has the same mark on her head but in her father's hair color. A tribute to both of them, I guess. Thank you.

Very beautiful! I knew you would do her justice, but this is just wonderful. Thank you very much! You did a gorgeous job! I love it beyond words.
I love your depiction too, inviting, friendly, and dignified. You hit the nail on the head with this one. I love your choice of clothing for her too, thanks for doing that. You did a great job with her legs too, she looks like she can leap fences. I thank you for your words too, 'bravely displaying her wings', it truly is a risk on her part to display them.
And those eyes! Thank you very much!

Thanks a lot, dude ^_^ I'm glad to hear you like the turnout. I love equines and I think I learned a few more styling cues for them after drawing her; dare I say she's one of the most beautiful I think I've drawn thus far.
May I post this at FurAffinity, too?
