Description A kind of different rendering technique on that one, I wanted to play a bit with Photoshop around a sketch I did last week, the butterflies came a bit random at first, yet I like how it ended ^^
it's perhaps a bit more realistic than my usual stuff but it was fun to do, and I've to thank the layers and copy/paste abilities of digital medias for the butterfly flock XD

wooow... form time to time i find pieces that really striks me .. i absulotly love the idea.. the butterflys at the bottom and how thay gather ... this's my new fav ^^ .. it's unfair to see such work with only 8 comment >.< i hate that ..

Hmmm... interesting. I can see how it was done in photoshop: the coloring isn't as smooth as it would be in painter.

I like....
The reddish color theme is nice :3 Especially with the blueish shading: it adds a nice contrast.
Those butterflies... that must have been a pain to render all of those individually. And for the detail you took the time to imbue each one of them with, I salute you!
That was a neet trick with the butterfly tattoo, if not easily overlooked. It's lighter and larger than the others, and that's a dead give away, as well as its conformity to his skin. Still, I like hunting for things in people's works.
The muscle structure on the arms is well done.

Critiques:
The definition and tone around his midsection could have used more work.
The shading on left side of his nose (HIS left, towards the bridge of the nose) is a wee bit too strong.
Something about the way you shaded this... you were tired or in a hurry to finish, mabey?

Great choice of colors and that tatoo on his body is such a nice little so-call "spotlight" I think I personally like it to be a little more bizzare in terms of design for that.
