Hello everyone! here is just to sprinkle the profile to which sooner or later I do cleaning, drawing (badly photographed as always) that is assigned to a translation on a plate for subsequent intaglio printing for my thesis of the three years here at the Academy of Florence.
It is part of a series of three panels that tell the beginning of the story of Alice, with that sweet poem or poem I can not define it, who wrote before the story proper. The golden afternoon when it was conceived the story of Alice, which is the real seal of friendship that linked Carroll to Alice Liddell.
Here I have represented the main characters of the first story published in 1865 reaching the photo taken by Dodgson (the real name of the pseudonym "Carroll") to Alice at the age of 7 years (if not before even I can not remember). The hands that hold the photos are of an adult Alice recalls. Against the background of the windows I have tried to draw a profile of Oxford where he works as a teacher of mathematics Dodgson and Alice where he lived as the daughter of the dean.

ciao a tutti!!! ecco tanto per spolverare questo profilo a cui prima o poi devo fare pulizie, un disegno (come sempre fotografato malissimo) che è destinato ad una traduzione su lastra per essere in seguito stampato calcograficamente per il mio lavoro di TESI del triennio qui all'accademia di Firenze.
Fa parte di un ciclo di 3 lastre che raccontano l'inizio della storia di Alice, con quella dolce poesia o poemetto non so definirlo, che scrisse prima dell'inizio della storia vera e propria. Il pomeriggio dorato in cui fu concepita la storia di Alice, che fa da sigillo concreto all'amicizia che legò Carroll con Alice Liddell.
Qui io ho rappresentato i personaggi principali della prima storia pubblicata nel 1865 che raggiungono la foto scattata da Dodgson (il vero cognome dello pseudonimo "Carroll") ad Alice alla età di 7 anni circa (se non prima addirittura io non ricordo bene). Le mani che sorreggono la foto sono di un Alice adulta che ricorda. Sullo sfondo dalle finestre io ho provato a tracciare un profilo di Oxford dove lavora Dodgson come docente di matematica e dove Alice viveva in quanto figlia del decano.
