Oh my gog. You did simply wunderbar on this work. I love the details of Aranea; her slim jawline rounding into a small chin cleft. You gave the horns every normal detail, but it feels different. Sort of like a Van Gogh painting. The focus is simply in one detail of her body, but you made the painting as if each part had equal focus. You gave her a great likeness to the Hussie style, and you assured that every detail known was there (Well, all that could be there from the shoulders up). You have a very good hand with anatomy, and it's evident. You did the neck shadow into the shoulder blades very well, and blended it into the shirt perfectly. Her lips are the perfect shade, while you curled it into a smile that Aranea almost consistently bears. And to the focus of the picture; you did perfect with the 8-fold. It gives her the spider's influence, and rounds out this great piece of art with the simple swift of a brush stroke.

Thank you so much for a wonderful critique! I didn't expect such kind words.I'm glad you like my paiting so much and it's an honour to be compared to Van Gogh, although I feel I still have a long way to even consider myself a good artist.

It's sort of a comparison of the 'watercolour'-like styles between yours and Gogh's "Starry Night."
