Gift Art for Happy early birthday!! don´t quite know when your actual birthday is.. It´s your gorgous who is also one of my favorite birds in the game
After reading about that drama you´ve had to deal with I realized that even though you´re not as present in the group as admins, you´re the one fighting the battles in the background without members really knowing. So here a small thank you for managing the group and inventing such an awesome species

Aaah, I love the colors on this bird~! They're glowing like it's standing in ray of sunlight.
The eye looks very striking as well, and nice job on the markings around it.

I have noticed that the groups with art points and such seem to often take it for granted when the people post pictures for them. It also seems you get 'celebrities' that get all the attention. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Sad to say, but i think I understand all the journals of people saying they are leaving.
If you want more humanoids I certainly have refs I need made, and a few scene ideas.

Sadly you´re right. What´s most frustrating is that there´s artists who do utterly rushed art but who have a great sense of composing images so they look flashy and attract a ton of views. Whereas detailed work usually gets ignored.
But I am trying to focus more on my own personal goals as an artist and not care as much if I`m popular or not

That does seem to be a big medium in art of any kind. Figuring what sells vs what you like.
You don't ignore what people want, but at the same time you can't trap yourself in one element and not improve in others.
If you aren't planning on just drawing stryx your whole life moving on may be the right descision. Or at least cutting back to those who pay the best in money AND experience.

Yeah, it´s hard to find good balance. Also being able to sell yourself well is more important than skills and talent sadly.
Well, I´m just gona take a break off drawing birds. Overall it is a game and it does bring me joy in a way that only a game can. Since I don´t have time for video games it´s a good alternative, sometimes it´s just hard not to lose track and envy others.
(not to mention that the entire breeding system is quite similar to gambling which can be addictive

Gambling Quite addictive and sneaks up on you in many forms.
Drawing games are more productive than holding a joy stick. Though in my case they have a similiar problem.

Maybe it´s because of his harsh childhood that he really appreciates the comfort of your home. Unlike other cats he knows that the feral life ain´t easy.

He certainly doesn't live up to his feral heritage, that's for sure. He loves him some cuddles. And the bed, and the free feeding, and the canned food treats, and the toys, and the nip.

Wow this is gorgeous, first of all that stryx has a gorgeous color pallete that you really brought to life. Secondly? I love the way the feathers near the eyes look almost like scales, which is fitting
