Tribute for and his sister guided by their mother for and Malika of course had no problems catching the slippery prey and watched her offspring from below. wWile her daugther Elanor was fiercly chasing down a flying fish, Eli got bitch-slapped by his prey. Who said it was easy to catch flying fish?
I just couldn´t help but imagine a stryx getting a fish in their face. Sorry if it´s out of character xD Also I love drawing those fishes. And for some reason Malika always stands out the most, maybe she´s just the easist to shade and add highlights becaues of her special plumage
Anyhow, been feeling a bit under the weather so I hope this turned out good enough.

Well, if that's the last thing it ever does in its life, at least it went out with style. lol
Anyway, very lovely sunset, and nice work on the angle of the mother Stryx's wings. That looks a bit tricky, especially with that eye-spot peeking out from the underside.

for those perspectives I actually watched a video of an eagle hunting down a goat, at least for the mom perspective. Gotta do that more often, wings are crazy dynamic and flexible o.O

The poses are once again awesome, and poor Eli OMG, it's not completely in character, but not really out of character either since I figure stuff like that can happen to anyone lol! :'D I bet he's gonna hear about this at least a couple of times from his sister haha

Thank you! Yeah, it could have happened to anybody really, especially young stryx. I suppose flailing around is a flying fish's best chance at getting away because the bird will be to stunned to catch em. Poor Eli though to have this happen during his tribute xD
