A headstrong and wild young harpia.

He comes from a very unusual line with extraordinarily long beaks and teeth. Some say he resembles an extinct species of stryx.

Grim, as people call him, is short tempered and usually doesn't realize the consequence of his actions until afterwards. He has a strong need to show off and impress and be top-stryx. By no means is he all bark and no bite as he has a knack for battle strategies.

Grim and Zharca are both part of Izrak's clan and served under him as students. What started as a cold rivalry developed into friendship as they realized they could only survive under the merciless training regime of Izrak if they stuck together.

Zharca

Very rarely smiles and everything is serious business to her.

A hard chickhood made her steel herself and always be strong, never to show any weakness. This attitude changed as Izrak took her under his wing and taught her to have a more balanced character. During the harsh training she developed a morbid humor which often cracks up Grim. Just like the male harpia she too has the urge to impress and finds in Izrak a father figure she never had.

Zharca makes sure people don't just see her for the shiny bird gifted with fire abilities. Other stryx often discard her other skills and pick on one of her biggest weaknesses - her poor flight skills. It wasn't until she was a teenage chick that she actually learned how to fly.

Arie

A small harpia often perceived for his fragile body and not his keen mind.

Born into nobility he was never one to enjoy the cooped up live, especially as his weak body - possibly due to inbreeding among the royals - meant he had always needed special care. Arie never had a chance to be who he wanted to be, a free spirited harpia who could explore Wyvera. Stryx often guilt-tripped him and manipulated him into submission trying to make him mentally as fragile as he was physically.

When his mother Rivka left their home for a journey his sole protection disappeared and some of the envious stryx who saw nothing but a weakling in him drove Arie out and away. Arie struggled to survive in the wild and realized just how unable to fend for himself he was. Other harpias bullied him and he scrapped for food. One of those days he saved Raphardon during a unfortunate hunt and the two became close friends. Raphardon decided to teach the harpia to fend for himself, with claws and words.

Raphardon

The hawk like thunderbird with a gentle nature.

Raphardon isn't very expressive and it is hard to see what he is thinking of feeling. Despite his immense power he is very down to earth and relaxed. Raphardon has a hard time trusting others and forming bonds, partially because his mother Maleficent had tried to manipulate him through others many times before. Deep down he is fighting the dark essence of his magic and although he is fairly young he often looks old and burdened.

The day Arie entered his life changed alot for him, he would not say this out loud thouh. The vulnerable and self-conscious harpia had a way about him that he admired. Arie was always honest and sincere and not one who enjoyed having power over others. In fact Raphardon desperately wanted to help this harpia thrive and overcome his past, if Arie could do it, perhaps Raphardon could do the same.
