A transportation demon who can identify thieves certainly has some elements found with the Greek god Hermes. What I love about your design is that you took those attributes and turned them on the head.
Hermes is a god of communication, meanwhile Seir is demon of little words and seems, based on your description, more interested in items getting to their proper owner while Hermes was, amongst other things, a patron of thieves. And the fact that he moves about on a bicycle is just a flair that really brings this character into his own.
I apologize if I drew a comparison that may have been unwanted. However, I thought to compare your original design with classical antiquity and observe your ability to transcended antiquity was necessary. It really demonstrates your ability as an artist and a story teller, in my opinion.

now that you say it, I see it too - Seir is actually loosely based on the demon Seere mentioned in the lesser key of Salomon, who's described as a pretty boy on a winged horse. Since the book was compiled in 15-hundred-whatever, it could be likely that he's loosely connected or inspired by Hermes somehow - the main characteristics certainly fit. Thanks for bringing up that connection, now I'm really curious. :>
and wow, I don't think I really deserve that praise, but thank you! And yeah, I thought the bicycle could really bring in some levity that the original lacked - if I just copied my main source, I felt the character would feel lifeless.
