creative with titles, aren't i?she actually gets to wear this dress in the little mind drama that is her life. her cousin dresses her up. it's supposed to give you the idea that when she gets older, she's going to be very pretty. right now, she's kind of a mess of insecurities (not without reason), and it shows in her body language and clothes. also in her hair, which tends to hide her face and keep her from being well-seen. but this night, her hair is pulled back, and she's put in this dress, and she feels a little more confident. she's not confident because of the -outfit- though, but because she's actually gaining friends in the world, and she's maturing. this is the first time she really gets seen like this, and akai (her love) thinks to himself that she's going to be a beautiful woman, if she can get past all of the shit that's happened to her.
too bad it doesn't end prettily.
