Sie ist Idaho is a traveling model (and an artist in her own right with a number of paintings she's been commissioned to paint or had exhibits in galleries). I've had the good fortune to collaborate with her numerous times. She is sweet, goofy, smart, artistic, professional, good-hearted, and one of the best people I know. She's also a helluva model. This is from a recent shoot with her on her East Coast tour. I love the lines, the angles, and how minimalist the shot is with the shadow that obscures almost everything. Believe it or not, this was shot in day (but with curtains partially closed) and no additional lighting--I'm simply shot to underexpose the shot that increased the contrast post-production. Otherwise, this photo is almost exactly out of camera what you'd see.
