Unfortunately for Cassidy, while she was able to take Violet down, her opponent was just too strong to keep her there for long, particularly when using her wounded left arm.

Trapped on her back with her opponent on top of her, it still seemed all too easy for the dark-haired woman to power her way free of the headlock (with a helpful yank of the blonde’s hair to speed her on her way).

From there, the fight resumed with them both on their feet and Cassidy in control, holding Violet in an arm wringer. Nice and basic, nothing fancy, just keeping things at the pace she wanted.

At least until Violet brought her gymnastic background into play, turning a one-handed cartwheel to relieve the pressure on her arm. Cass was caught off-guard as the brunette turned the arm wringer around on the blonde, kicking out a leg to bring Cassidy to her knees.

Keeping Cass’ left arm extended with one hand around her wrist, Violet began to dig her fingers into the vulnerable area between the blonde’s neck and shoulder, squeezing and squeezing hard as she worked the claw hold.

It would have been bad enough by itself but, combined with Violet’s previous attacks on that arm, Cassidy knew she had to do something fast.
