Here is a kiriban prize for who captured my 30 000th pageview!
She asked me to create a character for her based on her dog, certain color palette and some other attributes. This picture is a bit darker than the palette she gave me – thanks to scanner...
Ok, so here is the creature I came up with: the astral dog!
This creature can teleport from place to another and while he does that the colorful aura appears to the place he leaves and to the place he appears.
=Wovenwuff can add other skills etc. to this character – whatever she wants!

I really love how smooth the coloring on his hive is, love the tail and the horns are soo cool.

I didn't use alcohol for this piece; at first I tried to make some salt patterns but they looked horrible with so many pastel colors so I splattered more colors on it with toothbrush.

Salaisuus on niinkin yksinkertainen kuin Promarkerit! Väritin niillä ötökän pohjan ja varjostin puuväreillä päälle. Taustassa on pelkkää vesiväriä.

Mutta hyvin yksinkertainen.
Ja skanneriystävällinen myös, ainakaan mun skanneri ei aina tykkää pelkistä puuväreistä, mutta kun laittaa alle väriä joko tusseilla tai vesiväreillä, niin skannautuu paljon nätimmin.

I really had fun with the background, although it also caused me some troubles: at first I tried to make some watercolor + salt patterns but it ended up looking like someone puked a rainbow on the paper... so I rescued the bg by splattering some colors on it with toothbrush. Rainbow explosion looks much better! 
It really isn't difficult, just crap your watercolors and test what happens!
